Many Organisations are prone to disasters that can have catastrophic outcomes. It is human nature to perceive ‘if it hasn’t happened, it is likely to happen’, however at Horus we analyse your current methods of operation and management systems to identify the potential impact and current response options based on your processes.
Organisations have been impacted upon by major emergencies such as 9/11, the Manchester Bombing 1996, the Thailand Tsunami 2004 and the 2007 Floods. We still need to assess the potential from smaller scale emergencies that can have a massive impact on our operating capability.
There are several levels of emergency and each level requires a specific response from key members within the workforce. Horus International will identify key members, develop appropriate responses, design an effective Emergency Management Plan (EMP) and support you through effective training and testing of the Plan. This will ensure that you are better positioned to deal with emergencies and then effectively move forward into the Business Continuity phase.
Our advisors have developed emergency management systems for small businesses, companies operating in high risk regions and advised to local authorities to ensure compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and are currently supporting the development of the Emergency Management content for Buckinghamshire New University’s Masters Degree in Security, Business Continuity and Emergency Management.
