HORUS: A historical perspective:
An ancient Egyptian God. The ‘Eye’ of Horus became an important Egyptian symbol of power. Depicted by a man’s body with a falcon’s head. Horus fought with Set for the throne of Egypt ultimately injuring one eye. The eye was later healed by Isis. This became the symbol of renewal.
Known as many Gods, but mainly as the ‘God of Protection’ for his unfailing protection of the people of Egypt from Set.
